Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join our team, with a strong focus on recruiting for the live events, creative, and project management environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, selecting, and onboarding the right people for Battle Royal Studios, from creative and strategic roles to project management and operational positions. At the same time, you will support and further develop our HR operations, processes, and tools, ensuring a structured, people-centered, and scalable HR setup.
You will work closely with the CEOs and Heads of Departments, acting as a trusted HR partner for both leadership and team members. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved, balancing recruiting, operations, and people processes in a fast-paced, creative agency environment.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Own the end-to-end recruiting process for creative, project management, and operational roles within the event and live communication space.
- Work closely with department leads to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
- Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and candidate communication.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pool for both permanent and freelance positions.
- Ensure a professional, transparent, and positive candidate experience.
HR Operations & Processes
- Manage HR operations such as contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and documentation.
- Maintain and further develop HR processes and structures to support a growing agency.
- Support feedback, performance, and development processes in collaboration with leadership.
- Ensure accurate data maintenance and documentation in HR tools and systems.
People & Culture Support
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related topics.
- Support a healthy, respectful, and collaborative company culture.
- Work closely with leadership to align people processes with business and team needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal communication and HR workflows.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in HR management, talent acquisition, or a similar role.
- Strong recruiting experience, ideally within creative agencies, event production, or project-driven environments.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance operational tasks and process improvement.
- Experience working with (HR) tools such as Personio, Notion, and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with leadership and multiple departments in parallel.
- Trustworthy, structured, and people-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
